Brooch made from a 0.5mm oxidised silver sheet, riveted to solid
brooch back. Breaking Through is stamped onto the brooch back.

A series of ten perspex brooches I designed and had laser cut to add a commercial element to my work. The pins are handmade using steel with a silver cap. Each brooch is a visual of an emotion that one might find difficult to articulate.

A modern chatelaine for travel. The porcelain case has a micro chip for storing important info. The magnifying glass is for reading small print & the miniature hammer is a magnet to be run over the micro chip - as carrying a lot of personal information can be dangerous!

A teapot designed in 2007 to symbolise the demise of construction in Ireland due to the recession. The wrecking ball is a tea strainer. When submerged the water is stained a dark brown, thus darkening the skyline.
